Mukuzani manifests powerful charisma and irresistible charm of the aged, noble wine.Traditionally, it has been aged in oak barrels, gives a wine with is dark, pomegranate-red with notes of ripe berries, bay leaves and a gentle hint of oak. -
Saperavi
Saperavi is a noble red grape variety from Georgia. It is the flagship red grape and has red juice as well as red skins and it makes wines that are inky, often fully opaque. It’s a grape of incredible character, balancing refreshing acidity with astonishing energetic force in the mouth. Saperavi is dark ruby wine that is endowed with a noble balance of black- berry, black pepper and sour cherry aromas.

This award-winning Georgian fine dry red wine is produced in limited quantities from the Saperavi grape variety harvested exclusively from the Mukuzani appellation of origin. Mukuzani Premium by Château Svanidze manifests powerful charisma and irresistible charm of the aged, noble wine in addition to properties characteristic of the classic Mukuzani that are preserved.
The beauty of this dark ruby wine is perfectly conveyed by the bright balance of aromas and flavours of black plum, blackberry, black pepper and refined notes of oak. Medium plus acidity, rich velvety tannins and full body that are ideally crowned with prolonged finish complement the harmony of this elixir of life.
Vineyard Notes:
The vineyard is cultivated in village Mukuzani, part of controlled area of Mukuzani PDO in Kakheti, Eastern Georgia. The grapes are picked from a 40-year-old vineyard where a green harvest, removing extra bunches, was held to achieve better ripeness of the grapes.
