Product Details

Harvest: The best Chardonnay berries are carefully selected and hand-picked from Poggione vineyard in the last decade of August.

Vintage: Seasonal trends in the 2021 vintage were fairly regular. The rains of the spring period allowed good vegetative development and provided an important water reserve to face the drier summer months. The only phenomenon that could be noted, in the spring period, is the slight dissimilarity in the timing of shoot growth, due to a few days after Easter that recorded temperatures below the seasonal average, momentarily halting vegetative development in the cooler areas of Chianti Classico. At the health level, there was no pressure from fungal diseases

Vinification: 50% concrete tanks, 50% tonneaux, batonnage everyday for 10 days

Aging: In 100% new french oak barriques for 12 months, batonnage once a month. Bottle aging: 4 months Longevity: 8-10 years
